Edwin J. Bode, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Edwin J. Bode joined Physiotherapy Associates in 2011 and brings 26 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in the for-profit healthcare industry.  As Chief Financial Officer, Edwin is focused on the continual improvement of the company’s revenue cycle and is involved in the company’s strategic initiatives as a member of the executive leadership team.

Edwin joins the company after most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of Vista Health System, part of the CHS system.  Prior to joining Vista, he spent 18 years with Tenet Healthcare as Chief Financial Officer of three of their hospitals: Harton Regional Medical Center, University Medical Center and St. Francis Healthcare in Memphis, TN.  During his tenure with Tenet, he received the Outstanding CFO of the Year Award in 1995, 1997 and 2000.  At Saint Francis Healthcare, he was a leader in the planning, development and opening of a de novo hospital, an outpatient diagnostic imaging center and a physician joint-ventured ambulatory surgery center. Edwin began his career in public accounting with Peat Marwick and also worked as an Internal Audit Supervisor with AMI.

Edwin received a BBA in accounting from Georgia State University, and completed graduate course work in finance at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the AICPA and HFMA. He recently served on the Lake County Long Term Care Advisory Board.
